This Privacy Policy explains how OPSYNQ (“OPSYNQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit opsynq.com (the “Site”), fill out one of our forms, or contact us. By using the Site or sending us information, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the Site, such as See If We’re a Fit, or when you email us, you may give us your name, business email address, phone number, how you’d like us to reach you, your company name and website, your role, your type of business and team size, and your answers about how your business runs, what you’d like to improve, your timing and your readiness to move forward. You may also give us anything else you choose to include.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and the companies that host and run it automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. We use this to deliver the Site, keep it secure and fix problems.
Cookies, analytics and similar technologies. We and our service providers may use cookies, analytics and similar technologies to operate the Site and to understand how it is used. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.
Information from other sources. To prepare for a conversation with you, we may look at publicly available information about your business, such as your website and public business listings.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiry and get in touch with you;
- understand your business, decide whether we’re a good fit, and prepare for and hold conversations with you;
- propose, provide and improve our services;
- send you emails about OPSYNQ, including updates, resources and offers, as described below;
- operate, maintain, secure, measure and improve the Site;
- prevent spam, fraud and misuse;
- keep business records, comply with the law, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect our rights and the rights and safety of others; and
- for any other purpose we describe when we collect the information or that you agree to.
Email, phone and text messages
Email. If you give us your email address, we may contact you by email about your inquiry, and we may send you marketing emails about OPSYNQ. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs promptly. If you unsubscribe, we may still email you about an inquiry you made or work we are doing together.
Phone and text. If you give us your phone number, we use it only to respond to your inquiry and to communicate with you about work you have asked us to do. We do not use your phone number for marketing calls or marketing text messages. Message and data rates may apply to any text messages you choose to receive.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share information only as described below.
Service providers. We use other companies to help run the Site and our business, such as by hosting the Site, storing information, delivering email, sending internal notifications and measuring how the Site is used. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services to us.
Professional advisers. We may share information with our lawyers, accountants and other professional advisers when needed for their services to us.
Business changes. If OPSYNQ is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of its business or assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Legal and safety reasons. We may share information when we believe in good faith that it is required by law or legal process, or that it is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of OPSYNQ, our clients, you or others.
With your consent. We may share information when you ask us to or agree that we can.
We may also share information that has been combined or de-identified so that it no longer identifies you.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to keep a record of our conversations with you, follow up with you, and meet legal, accounting and business requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or de-identify it.
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people and services that need it. No method of storing or sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link in any of those emails.
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing hello@opsynq.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will respond as required by the law that applies to us, and we may keep information that we are required by law to keep or that we need for legitimate business purposes, such as keeping records of our communications.
Depending on where you live, such as California, certain other U.S. states, the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local law. Where those laws apply to us, we will honor those rights. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
California residents. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Because we do not sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising, browser signals such as Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control do not change how the Site works.
